France: Seaweed face Mask
In France there has been a new trend that has become the new beauty staple in the country.
As the focus of beauty has become more associated to the desire for beauty with a focus on health, the French are rediscovering what nature has to offer, by exploring the health benefits of seaweed. Not only are there various types of seaweed, there is an inexhaustible source of therapeutic, dietary and cosmetic benefits from its use. Laminaria algae, (commonly known as Kelp) which abound on our Atlantic coast, are particularly remineralising. As well as Chondrus crispus popularly known as Sea moss or Irish moss which contain 96 of the 102 minerals the body needs for good, healthy function.
Application: once a week, in a thin layer on the face. Application time: 10 minutes.
Recipe Ingredients: 30 grams of MamaSia Seamoss, (prepared into a gel) 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Preparation: Mix the seaweed and add the oil, apply to face rinse with lukewarm water after 10mins
